      Description

I built a dwarf fighter 3 with a dex of 14 (+2 bonus). Heavy shield and masterwork full plate.
      AC should be 10 + 2 (shield) + 9 (full plate) + 2 (dex) = 23. But 22 is shown.
Also shown is max dex of +1 and armor check penalty of +5 for full plate. Armor
Training 1 should change these to max dex of +2 and armor check penalty of +4.

        Interesting.....

The lst files can be "fixed" to have the numbers be correct:
        ..........@\data\alpha\paizo\pathfinder_rpg\core_rulebook\pfcr_templates.lst
..........remove the "Armor Training workaround" template
        and
        ..........@\data\alpha\paizo\pathfinder_rpg\core_rulebook\pfcr_abilities_class.lst
..........change the Armor Training Special Ability to remove calling the template and add:"BONUS:MISC|MAXDEX|1|PREMULT:2,[PREEQUIP:1,TYPE=Armor],[PREVARGTEQ:ArmorTraining,1] BONUS:MISC|MAXDEX|1|PREMULT:2,[PREEQUIP:1,TYPE=Armor],[PREVARGTEQ:ArmorTraining,2] BONUS:MISC|MAXDEX|1|PREMULT:2,[PREEQUIP:1,TYPE=Armor],[PREVARGTEQ:ArmorTraining,3] BONUS:MISC|MAXDEX|1|PREMULT:2,[PREEQUIP:1,TYPE=Armor],[PREVARGTEQ:ArmorTraining,4]" in it's place (ugly but it works).

The above will make the Skill numbers and AC show up correctly on the output sheets, and the Skill breakdown on the Skill tab will have the correct armor check penalty.

However, I do not know of a way to create an equipmod that can be added to a piece of equipment that the character is wearing so the numbers on the actual piece of equipment (ie. any armor) will not show correct on the equipment tab, since the changes above apply more to the PC rather than the equipment.

I will commit the above changes so the numbers are good, but leave this tracker open and unassign it for the head data monkey to figure out if this needs to be a freq or he has a way to do the equipmod changes.

Okay, I remade a Dwarf Fighter Lv 3, gave the same equipment. I have an AC of 23 showing. Armor Check is -6 instead of -7, Max Dex is +2, not +1. Testing in 5.17.9.

If you think it's going to actually modify the Stats on the Armor Listing, then it won't, it can't today. But the Stats along the top row show the correct numbers, which is the important thing.

        • Looks like David fixed this already, but forgot to resolve it. I'll fix that then.
